Internal forces calculation of the sparse row of piles foundation pit support is most use the elastic fulcrum methods which are recommended in the specification. Width calculation of active earth pressure on the single supporting piles is used piles spacing in the Specification.Whether this practice is reasonable is to be studied.This article is based on the pile internal force data which is from centrifuge model test of cantilever sparse row pile retaining pit. Supplementary analysis the force and deformation of sparse row of pile foundation pit which is under the different pile spacing,and compare this calculated results with the specification method,research the suitability of the pile force and deformation method in the cantilever sparse row of piles in foundation pit which is calculated by the specification method.Further,for a practical engineering pit in Shanghai,use ABAQUS three-dimensional finite element software,analyzed pile force and deformation of the sparse row of piles foundation pit which with the bracing.And compare this calculated results with the specification method, discusses the suitability of the pile force and deformation method in the bracingsparse row of piles which is calculated by the specification method.
