Steel Tubular Composite Pile exists as a new type of structure recently, it has much in common with steel tube-confined concrete structure, comparing with the traditional pile foundation, it has more advantages such as high bearing capacity, easy drove-method, small amount of soil discharge, convenient construction and high flexural capacity, and it is widely used in engineering of super deep foundation of the great bridge across the sea and harbor engineering. But the research on the bearing mechanism and working performance are rare, especially more research work need to be done on the effect of the shear connector upon the Steel Tubular Composite Pile.The thesis had certain knowledge to the process of force and deformation of the Steel Tubular Composite Pile under the influence of the shear connector by studying the experiment of7specimens under the complex force of the combination of shear and moments, including5specimens are under eccentric load and2specimens are under thrust load. By analyzing the test result, the stress-average strain relationship, development of longitudinal strain of the section, load-lateral displacement relationship, load-slip curve and axial force-bond strength curve are obtained, the thesis focuses on the mechanical behavior, deformation capacity and the bond strength between the core concrete and the steel tube varies with the shear connector and the spacing of the connectors, and indentify the effect upon the work performance of the shear connector. Compare the load-lateral displacement relationship, stress-strain distribution and load-slip curve obtained from the test result with that from the ABAQUS calculation result, it can be inferred that the FEM result can match the test result well. On the basis of the test result combining with the FEM result, the thesis discuss the influence from different section pattern of the shear connector on the work performance by simulating the section pattern in ABAQUS.
