Under the development of rapid social economic nowadays, the tourism industry has gradually transferred from the sightseeing to the relaxing; the real estate industry has also transferred from initial commercial houses into high class houses which focus more on the landscape quality. At the same time, according to the national political orientation (such as publishing the policy of controlling the land use of resort, improving the qualification of purchasing second house). The opportunity of traditional real estate development has begun to decrease, fierce competition has been increased. A large number of real estate funds need to be invested in new area. Tourism real estate has been born by the grafting from today’s tourism and real estate industry. In terms of both characteristics, a lot of tourism places located in rural area have unique geographical conditions and pleasant climate; but with the rapid development of real estate, city has been lack of its own land. It has provided a good opportunity to the development for tourism real estate.Tourism real estate includes not only the "visible culture"-buildings and its structure, but also inside "intangible culture"-the spirit of place. The space can become a site because it has the recognition in a characteristic of itself. It is hard to catch deep characteristics, but plays a crucial role in space. The tourism real estate landscape design in China has incurred many problems:on one hand, it has paid too more attention on "entity landscape" style which ignored creating some meaningful landscape space. It is lack of research in cultural background of landscape design. We should keep the protection of some local customs and the continuation of values. Besides, There is too much "Copycat" in landscape design. A lot of projects referred to some style preferred by consumer as marketing guide, or just copy one popular project, seem many of kinds, but actually the same. The spirit of place of is an abstract concept in this article. It doesn’t appear just because of a detailed design, and even not revealed in design performance. The spirit of place will be affected a lot of factors such as cultural background, place character, design style and so on.This article attempts to analysis the creation of place spirit in tourism real estate landscape design, it will remain and continue to implement the spirit of place. This article includes five chapters. First of all, it will have a general summary, such as the relative research background and importance, research field of vision, domestic and foreign status analysis, research methods and research framework. At the same time, it will discuss the key points occurred in design. The existence of these problems led us to think about the spirit of place in tourism real estate landscape design, help us to research it. The chapter two focus on concept of The spirit of place, from related concepts to spirit of place in significance in tourism real estate landscape design. It will study on the creation of place spirit in tourism real estate landscape design.The chapter three focus on the The object of the study-tourism real estate landscape design. It will individually elaborate environmental factors affected on tourism real estate landscape, basic design elements included in tourism real estate landscape, regional division of tourism real estate landscape. And analysis of the place actors-the activities of people in the tourism real estate.The chapter four will explain the design concept and methods of the place spirit in tourism real estate landscape.Finally, it will expound and prove the design principal by Pan zhi hua Ar Shu Da Tourism Landscape Design project. Then focus on the research of the Panzhihua Ar Shu Da Tourism Landscape Design project about the approaches and applications of spirit of place in tourism real estate landscape. And design of the creative process as a basic basis and theoretical guidance, tends to the possibility of making the research process,reality and operability.
