Automobile manufacturing is important pillar industry in our country, so far, China has become car ownership and consumption most populous country in the world, but automotive manufacturing especially advanced welding technology has obvious gap with other countries in the world.Application of virtual simulation technology is widely used car manufacturing technology. Under the condition of virtual simulation technology, the dynamic simulation of product manufacturing process, does not consume any actual raw material, has forward-looking guidance to the production plan, therefore, been widely applied in many complex system design. Virtual simulation system has become an important means to solve complex manufacturing system, the automobile manufacturing enterprise efficiency is of great significance as well.In this paper, based on the eM-Plant software, a car welding in domestic manufacturing companies as the research object, the following basic work has been done:The second chapter mainly introduces optimization demand analysis of the auto welding production line, the generalization of auto welding manufacturing process in detail, and points out the optimization problems and the optimization method of car welding production line.The third chapter mainly elaborated the research of auto welding production line simulation and optimization modeling method, focus on discrete event model of car welding production line, expounds the optimization of modeling and a brief introduction to the modeling method and the steps.The fourth chapter models the whole simulation system, analyses the existing simulation software, and points out the advantages of eM-Plant in modeling, summarizes the characteristics of the eM-Plant, points out the model elements, and modeling for auto production line.The fifth chapter analyzes the optimization of the whole model optimized, by importing the raw data of car welding production line, optimizes、reorganizes and analyzes the result.Based on the simulation of the whole auto welding construction of the manufacturing process is the the core content of the article, through the control of the actual parameters and modification, and under the ideal of stochastic factors, can full control the whole production enterprise of the actual production process.In this paper, based on the eM-Plant, the use of the virtual simulation technology in car manufacturing industry has been explorated and researched. To improve the efficiency of assembly line production, solve the bottleneck problem of production, has certain practical significance and theoretical significance.
