The material and construction method of CFST arch bridges are different from those of concrete or steel arch bridges, which leads to the differences of temperature distribution and associated temperature effect. Taking a railway deck type CFST arch bridge with a main span of360m as an example, the temperature field and associated temperature effect are investigated in this thesis. The conclusions of this thesis could be seen as a reference for design and construction of this kind of bridge.Firstly, the thesis summarizes the research achievements of temperature issue of CFST arch bridge thoroughly. And then, the temperature boundary condition of the CFST arch bridge during and after arch rib construction are analyzed respectively, which lays a foundation for the subsequent numerical simulation of temperature field.Secondly, based on the ANSYS software, the temperature field of arch rib cross-section from concrete pouring to its strength formation is calculated, which is verified by in-suit measurement and some significant conclusions are drawn. On this basis, the calculated closure temperature of CFST arch bridge is analyzed and corresponding simplified formula is put forward.At last, the temperature fields of arch rib cross-section after construction in summer and winter are studied, respectively, and then the estimation of uniform temperature is discussed. Furthermore, comparisons of arch rib deformation and stress in different temperature load cases are carried out, and some aim measures are proposed.
