With the asphalt pavement construction has characteristics of short build cycle, driving comfort and low noise, was widely used in road construction at home and abroad, especially in our country, the volume of asphalt roadbed construction has reached more than95%of the existing highway mileage. For the good pavement performance of asphalt mixture, has been more and more used in the maintenance project of old cement pavement with asphalt overlay repair technology. However, with the increasing of traffic and overloading vehicles, the road surface problem of durability has more serious, for example reflection crack and so on. Based on the scientific research project of 《To Improve the Durability Research in " White and Black "Pavement Structure of Donggua》 of Guangdong Communications Department, Use for reference the existed large size asphalt mixture research at home and abroad, researching how to develop the durability of asphalt overlay in old cement pavement servicing.First, through the indoor test methods, research the asphalt-aggregate ratio of large size and more void of rubber modified asphalt mixture; Then, according to the established optimal asphalt content to research the pavement performance of water stability、high temperature stability、low temperature anti-cracking performance and so on. At the same time, to research the compression rebound modulus and compressive strength of asphalt mixture. The results of indoor test reflects that, with the large size and more viod of rubber modified asphalt mixture in meet the design of poriness, its water stability and high temperature stability could also be able to meet specification requirements. Especially, for this type of mixture has quite high crack resistance and higher compressive modulus of resilience, that has important significance to delay or even prevent the reflection cracks development; Finally, on the basis of large Size and more void of rubber modified asphalt mixture has more proportion of poriness and big aggregate, put forward practical and feasible construction scheme.Using ABAQUS, to research the mechanical property of asphalt overlay with following by large size and more viod asphalt mixture. According to the type of asphalt mixture with more big aggregate, big nominal size, higher compression rebound modulus, to analysis effect of asphalt overlay in different analysis of compressive modulus of resilience^degree of concrete pavement plate bottom to prevent reflection crack and temperature load. Calculation results show that under the different external factors, this type of asphalt mixture can withstand higher stress, so as to relieve the stress concentration caused by pavement early damage phenomenon. Analysis results show that the gradation type of large Size and more void of rubber modified asphalt mixture gradation can satisfy the design requirements and specification.Reflective crack of asphalt layer structure is a important problem urgently to be solved in engineering, this paper combined with large Size and more void of rubber modified asphalt mixture the indoor experimental study, and through paving test road in Dongguan to research. Using theoretical analysis and field inspection solution, to explore a new way to solve this type of pavement early damage phenomenon, to provide technical reference for guangdong region on the service technology of asphalt overlay, so as to improve the durability of paving layer of pavement structure.
