Investigation And Optimal Design Of The Hard Landscape In Beijing Commercial District

With the development of city’s construction and national economy, commercial activities such as shopping already inextricably link with human’s daily lives. A wide range of commercial district gradually formed. Commercial districts today are not only to meet the shopping needs of the people, but also become an important place for communication and entertainment. That’s the reason why more and more attention paid on this tiny space. In this paper, the author chooses hard landscape as study object which was thought as an important part in commercial district landscape. Hoping in this way we can find the right design method to create a beautiful and practical commercial district landscape.The author takes commercial district hard landscape in Beijing as the object of study and conducts surveys and field study. This article fills the gap in the study of Beijing’s commercial hard landscape, together with providing a reference for other commercial landscape construction. After the analysis of surveys, the author find the advantages and disadvantages of the corresponding business district hard landscape, and make recommendation for improvement.Based on the findings, the author concludes the physical elements of the commercial hard landscape, meanwhile, summaries the principles and specific methods of that. In the end, the article proposed some advices on the optimization of business district hard landscape in Beijing.
