The masonry buildings with bottom frame-shear wall because of meeting the large space needs for the bottom, and simple construction, lower construction costs, has been widely used now in the small city street construction, rural architecture. This structure corresponds to the reality of the existence of such seismic housing remains a major issue.Accordance with the "Code for seismic design of buildings" provides, The basic goal of buildings seismic fortification is’no damage in minor earthquake, moderate earthquake repairs, large earthquakes does not fall’, in which the stairways as the escape way in the earthquake has special importance, If damage occurs first on the stairs inside the building the people may be trapped, and enormous threat to their life safety, so the stairs should be called’refuges’.In order to achieve the goals and make the stairs fortification called ’refuges’, there must be a comprehensive analysis of the entire structural system, learn seismic defense and possible weaknesses, thus taking reasonable and appropriate measures. For the bottom of the frame-shear wall masonry buildings, a common practice in structural analysis, is the wall, column and beams as vertical bearing system and stair systems respectively considered, identified the stairs almost no participate in bearing horizontal seismic action. Seismic studies for this house, also focus on the ’top-heavy" on rigidity under soft’ vertical irregular, without considering the seismic defense case of the wall, column, beams and stairs in the whole system, such analysis is obviously flawed. This paper will be based on the overall structure of wall, column, beams and stairs to conduct seismic studies.This paper will take two-story frame shear wall structure in bottom, upper part of four-story masonry structure as the research subjects. Using the push-over elastic plastic analysis to determine the development of the plastic hinge member, Research the distribution of the seismic line about bottom frame-shear wall masonry buildings. Specifically, is to use the finite element analysis software SAP2000, accord the stairs component participate the actual situation of structural work together, compare with stairs and no stairs, analyze the entire structural system.Based on static elastic plastic analysis concluding deal ideas, in the wall, column, beam appropriate furnished seismic line, use’semi-slip stairs support’ measures, avoid stairs component participating in bearing horizontal seismic action, regulation of the entire structural system in force system.
