As a new kind of high-power energy storage device, supercapaciotor has caused wide public concern in recent years, for the high power density, fast charge-discharge speed, environmentally friendliness, and long life cycles. At present, supercapacitor is widely used in hybrid electric vehicles, aerospace vehicle, electrommunication and so on, with a vast development prospect. In the working process of the supercapacitor, the working conditions are in flux, leading to that its performance states are affected by many factors, such as service time, working voltage, working temperature and electrode materials’electrochemical properties. In this paper, working principle of supercapacitor and electric double layer theory are introduced, on this basis, finishing following work:Firstly, an equivalent circuit model of supercapacitor is raised, and MATLAB is employed to conduct a simulation of the impedance spectroscopy changing with service time, working voltage, and temperature. By this way, the effects of these parameters are obtained. Secondly, choosing small double electric layer supercapacitors made inland as the research object, apply the software of ANSYS to make a meshing, with the background of constant charging-discharging. By setting some boundary conditions and making a thermal analysis, temperature field distribution and the highest temperature of the working process are obtained, and the heat stability is discussed. At last, the supercapacitor unit is packaged, and then the charge-discharge property and impedance characteristics are analyzed by experiment research.
