The architecture is the mark of human civilization’s progress and modern industrial technology’s improvement. Architecture can not only satisfy people’s survive requirement, but also meet the spiritual need and beauty’s appreciation. For urban architecture, it even more presents the regional culture. After thousands of years’ development, the European architecture is the elegant art model of modern architecture, develops well and has a extremely broad prospect. But the modern European architecture mostly use the stone carving and concrete pouring to build the pillar trim and decoration, these methods are not only cost a lot of human/financial resource and labour charge, but also raise the difficulty of construction and slow the build progress. As a new type of architecture material, Glass Fiber Reinforced Cement(GFRC) can reduce the construction time and save the material at the same time, has a good development prospect and widely usage.Firstly, the material performance of GFRC is introduced which includes the performance and chemical composition of alkali-resistant glass fiber、low alkali sulphoaluminate; mainly describes the GFRC’s mechanical properties, including the compressive strength、tensile strength、flexural strength、impact strength and elastic modulus; briefly describes the basic factor of GFRC’s durability--impermeability and frost resistance.Secondly, the production progress of GFRC is introduced which includes the production methods of cement’s and silicone’s mold; detailed describes the configuration of material, including the original allocation ratio of cement、alkali-resistant glass fiber、silica sand、 embedded part、thickening agent、additives and other material; specialty introduces the production process of GFRC, including ready-mixed molding method、direct spray molding、lapper spraying molding and spray aspiration; also, the method of product conservation and the surface modelling and effect processing of primary treatment.Thirdly, the implementation program is introduced, including the embedded part processing method of GFRC, specialty introduces the installation of GFRC including the pre-installation preparation and component installation error requirement, as well as the component installation method including back anchor link fixed and welded connections installation; besides, the link points’ installation between GFRC component and building and the post-installation work are included.Based on the detail research of GFRC’s material performance、production process、 construction progress, The GFRC can be implemented to the practical application. By using the GFRC in curtain wall, and testing in a lot of trails, practical experience can be summed up and being used to improve the production process and construction program, besides, the pipeline installation method is provided.At last, the modern architecture application of GFRC is introduced, including the fashion architecture、landscape architecture、villa and classical architecture.
