This article mainly launches the research and analysis from four aspects: through analyzinghydrological characteristics and the regulation of runoff generation of permeable pavement, taking Beijing as an example, under different design return period and different surfacepermeability coefficient, the regulation of runoff generation of porous pavement wascalculated and analyzed; and, runoff pollution control effects of permeable pavement werestudied; the ability of surface permeability of several typical permeable pavement in Beijingarea were field researched by the asphalt pavement seepage meter; based on the principle ofwater balance, permeable pavement design method for different design goals were studied. The main achievements in the research of these four aspects were summarized as follows.(1) Taking Beijing as an example, when the thickness of permeable pavement structure layeris200mm, void ratio is30%, under different return period and different surfaceinfiltration rates, runoff control ratios of the permeable pavement were calculated. Basedon the results of the above analysis, surface runoff control rates of different permeabilitycoefficient of permeable pavement were analyzed and evaluated.(2) For two kinds of permeable bricks: composite brick and sand brick, rainwater runofffiltration tests were tested, SS concentration of water inlet and outlet were contrasted, andthe removal rate was calculated. On the open graded friction layer with different voidratio (OGFC) of rainwater runoff filtration test, the removal rate of COD and SS werecalculated.(3) All surfaces of the permeable pavement in Beijing area of the permeability field research, select the Beijing Olympic Park, Yizhuang Economic Development Zone, Boda Park,Chang’an Avenue, Jinchan West Road, Ministry of science and technology of China eighttest points, use the asphalt pavement seepage meter for testing, different permeablepavement surface infiltration performance status and analysis.(4) Based on the basic principle of water balance, for different control goals, such as runoffvolume control rate, peak flow control rate and pollutants control rates, permeablepavement design method were studied and analyzed, and the corresponding designprocess and steps were given.
