With rapid development of economic and the expansion of a large area of city,construction of high-rise building is in full swing. However, due to China’s vastterritory, complex layer, the theory lagging behind practice and other factors, thefoundation pit engineering failures happen frequently, and result in a large number ofcasualties and property losses.Combination of pre-stressed anchor and other supporting methods can reduce thedisplacement of the side wall of the pit, and restrain sliding failure of the pit to ensurethe pit of economy, safety and applicability.The paper studies design and supporting theory of anchor, and analyzes influencingfactors of anchor. Meanwhile, it studies the tensile deformation of anchor, andproposes measures to increase the capacity of anchor. Taking engineering named largeWang-jing Poly International Plaza for instance, it tests and discusses anchordisplacement during tension locking and prestress loss after locked in a certain stage.Finally, on the basis of VB, I develop a set of small software.By studying the supporting theory of anchor and analyzing tests, it indicates thatthe paper deformation of the anchor under tension comprises elastic deformation ofanchor, tensile deformation and shear deformation of anchor solid and surroundingsoil, and factors influencing anchor-prestress cover strength of anchor itself, anchorstrength of surrounding soil, the water content of soil and the ions in the water. Test ofanchor stress monitoring verifies that anchor stress experience three stages, toboggan,rise and steady. It is linear relationship between tension loading and anchordisplacement. Dispersed tensile anchor can reduce stress concentration and improvethe bearing capacity of anchor. The software developing that it is being an auxiliarydesign software of foundation pit can simplify manual calculation.
