With the development of economic development in Western mountain areas inChina, the highway, railway and other infrastructure of the transport capacity can notmeet the needs.Due to the gas has the characteristicthat spill with the jointed fracturedzone or faultwhere a number of tunnel construction in coal or oil and gas field.Aslong as accurately detect the jointed fractured zone or the presence of faults, we caneffectively complete the gas detection task.Then, Using the horizontal drilling withhandheld gas instrument can detect theexistence condition of gas,accuratly predict thegas occurrence state of the forward tunnel surrounding rock,ensure the safety ofconstruction.TSP (Tunnel seismic prediction)system is one of the most effective currentlydetection method in China,which can accurately detect thebad geological structure inthe forward tunnel face from the100metre to200metre rangeThis paper mainly describes the basic principle of TSP seismic reflection wavemethod, the field work method and data processing method. And, it presents theinterpretation symbol characteristics of thetypical adverse geological body in oil andgas field which at the the basis of the previous TSP interpretation marks, andcombined with the geological characteristics of Longquan Mountain tunnel.Finally, On the basis of statistical method.It conducts systemic tracking controlto detect the unfavorable geological body such as the fault fracture zone, joint zoneand water-bearing structure, which detected by TSP detection method inthe Longquanmountain tunnel. It gives the detailed results of the statistical analysis aswell.Analysis shows that the TSP detection technology has a high accuracy of theadverse geological body in the exploration of oil and gas field tunnel, its value up to81%.In this project, TSP detection method excellently completegas detection taskofthe oil and gas zone and effectively prevent the occurrence of the gas tunnelgeological disasters.
