Earthquake is one of devastating natural disasters, and the bridge acts as an important role in traffic lines. The relief work will be seriously impeded when bridges are destroyed in earthquake; the necessity and the importance of the seismic response analysis of bridge have been realized by human beings who live in the earthquake-prone zones. The bridge seismic response analysis theories that have been built are matured at present, and because of the special structure of the inclined pylon cable-stayed bridge, the research achievements are not enough for the seismic response analysis of the inclined pylon cable-stayed bridge with back cables, especially in the high intensity region, the seismic response behavior of this type of bridges need to be further studied. This thesis based on a practical project, and taking Ansha bridge as an example, which would be built in Luding in Sichuan province. The main study works are as follows.1、Based on the inclined pylon cable-stayed bridges which have been built in domestic, the structure characteristics of beams, towers, cables, and structural systems have been analysed in detail.2、The methods for the seismic response analysis of bridges, such as the the elastic static method, the response spectrum method, the time-history method and the power spectrum method, have been introduced.3、The way to build the finite element model of the inclined pylon cable-stayed bridge with back cables has been introduced to research its dynamic characteristics..4、The response spectrum method and the time-history method have been used to analyse the seismic response of a inclined pylon cable-stayed bridge with back cables, and the reaction rules of displacement and internal force are summarized.5、The displacement and stress level of inclined pylon cable-stayed bridge with back cables have been analysed under earthquake action E1.
