With the improvement of people’s living standards, the way of traffic travel haschanged dramatically, which leads to a sharp increase in urban motor vehicle trafficvolume, directly generated a lot of traffic demand, so the balance between the limitedtransport supply and huge traffic is broken. Simply consider increasing the supply orlimiting the traffic by controlling traffic can’t essentially ease the pressure on urbantraffic. At the same time, the unsolicited deck vehicles seriously disrupt traffic order, and pose a serious threat to traffic safety and people’s lives and property.Intelligent Transportation of Things is committed to accessible informationinteraction among people, vehicles, road. The networking signal control system basedon intelligent transportation was not only able to control the signal at intersections andcritical sections effectively, but also monitor vehicles and drivers on the road timely,to ensure the smooth of traffic flow and the safety of road environment. Departurefrom the signal control and vehicle control, this paper designed a set of urban trafficsignal control and management applications based on RFID technology, magneticfrequency detector technology, video detection technology, signal acquisitiontechnology Intelligent Transportation of Things. The main work of this paper are:First, the existing transport facilities and technical status quo analysis, to determinethe system is based transport facilities environment, to clear existing systems.Second,Build system framework, determine the system function module design back-enddatabase to determine the signal timing plans. Third, prepare the system program, theestablish the system application platform, then verify that the system functions.Fourth, summarizes the paper and give an outlook.
