The Research On Decoration Features And Cultural Connotation Of The Chinese Character ’shang’ Shaped Door

Huizhou lies in the south of Anhui province, surrounded by Huang Mountain and Xinan River. As one of China’s three major regional culture, Huizhou culture is unique and far-reaching. The structure of Huizhou architecture gathers aura of mountains and rivers scenery and the essence of custom culture. It has distinctive style, rigorous structure, exquisite sculpture,and vivid local characteristics. As unique and special artifacts of architecture’s sculpture, the Chinese character’Shang’shaped door is very worthy to in-depth study and research.This article has studied on the Chinese character’Shang’shaped door in the ancient village, such as Xidi village, Hong village, Lu village. From the perspective of the meaning and culture connotation, analyze the evolution of the Chinese character’Shang’shape and the relations of the Chinese character’Shang’shaped door in Huizhou. Combined with the history and culture, social and cultural environment of ancient Huizhou, discussing the causes of the Chinese character’Shang’shaped door and its decorative art features. Through the research on the creation idea, theme and connotation, combining with the characteristics of ancient construction and the conception, design, production, decoration style, pattern of character ’Shang’shaped door, the article has studied on modeling features, decorative forms and the humanities connotation. So that refine the overall forms and typical decoration pattern, then Use them in the design of new Chinese-style furniture, embodying the value of research on decoration features and cultural connotation of the Chinese character’Shang’shaped door.The Chinese character’Shang’shaped door is the treasure of decorative art. But the historical record is ambiguous, and the subject of systematic theory study is a blank.
