| At present, China’s all-electric cars are developing in various modes with limited R&D level and inaccurate targeting. Thus, the actual customers’demand and R&D perspectives do not fit in with each other, and the products cannot meet the market expectations. Based on such a background, this project proposed the application of "rainbow cars"-a mini vehicle that is applicable in urban fringe, to satisfy market demand and boost the development of all-electric cars in China.With independent R&D project as the research background, the paper intended to provide a feasible plan of action for the development of mini vehicles based on analysis of drawbacks in parallel development of bodywork and researches on this subject. Then, it conducted in-depth study on the product data in the R&D process, and the features and shortcomings in its management. Thus, it is necessary to develop a highly pertinent and operative data management system. Finally, a mini vehicle data management prototype system targeting at "rainbow cars" is developed with consideration of the actual need for management and maintenance of relevant data in the process of digital development of mini vehicles in our school.Based on the data, function and system performance needed by research and analysis of the actual project and product data management knowledge and system development ability, the development of system uses standardized methods of analysis and development tools. The demand of the project and customers are all reflected in the architecture, specific functions of models, structure of database and the final realization of expected system functions.The raise and actualization of this prototype data management system can serve as a guiding model for the development of data management system in academic research institutions and medium and small-sized automobile enterprises. They can add other functions based on this prototype system and apply it to their own data management practices. |
