The structural reliability design is one important developing direction of structure design theory. Large-scale structures are of complicated composition, and the performance function of reliability analysis is often nonlinear and implicit under many circumstances. It’s difficult to execute reliability analysis by traditional methods. In this paper, the reliability calculation and SAP2000software are linked, and reliability analysis based on deformation of three typical large-scale structures was illustrated in this article. The main contents were summarized as follows:(1) The general approach for computing structural reliability index and secondary development technology of SAP2000were introduced. On the basis, a reliability analysis method aiming at large-scale structures was put forward by combining the two. This method uses SAP2000’s powerful finite element analysis functions reasonably. The validity were proved by an example.(2) The principal of Pushover method was introduced, and seismic reliability analysis of a frame structure was made based on Pushover method. Reliability index calculating programme was compiled by FORTRAN language. Target displacement was calculated by capacity spectrum method. Pushover curve was output by means of SAP2000software. The secondary development of SAP2000realized the calling SAP2000in FORTRAN. Finally, this seismic reliability analysis based on Pushover method was illustrated through an example.(3) Load calculation and bearing design of space frame were introduced. The space truss designed by MSTCAD was exported to SAP2000througn Matlab language; The reliability of space truss under serviceability limit state was computed. Reliability index was executed through the calculation of FORTRAN programme. Deflection was exported from SAP2000. The secondary development of SAP2000made the deflection analysis of SAP2000participate in the iteration calculation. Ultimately, the whole design and reliability analysis process was illustrated through a concrete example.(4) Main points of Su-Tong Bridge modeling in SAP2000was introduced. The reliability of Su-Tong Bridge under serviceability limit state was computed. Reliability index was executed through the calculation of FORTRAN programme. The girder deflection was exported from SAP2000. The secondary development of SAP2000made the deflection analysis of SAP2000participate in the iteration calculation.
