With the rapid development of our society and economy, the car ownership hasincreased dramatically. The car bring convenience to people, at the same time, moreand more traffic accidents follow. Traffic accident occurred In our country, thepedestrian casualties occupy a large proportion. Pedestrian is one of the mostvulnerable groups in traffic accident, and crosswalk is the main road area of theinterference between pedestrians and vehicles, therefore, reasonable traffic facilitiessuch as: the setting of the pedestrian crossing, traffic lights time than etc, it hasimportant significance to improve the pedestrian traffic safety by studying pedestrianflow simulation.In this paper, models of pedestrian flow in signal control crosswalk ofintersection is established on base of the theory of cellular automata model and antalgorithm. Through the observation of pedestrians walking characteristics,combination the pheromone of ant algorithm model and the cellular automata, usepheromones to embody the characteristics of pedestrians to walk between the features.The specific contents of this paper as follows:The first chapter mainly illustrates the thesis research background, purpose andsignificance. Also this paper summarized the pedestrian flow research status at home andat abroad, and defined the research content and the main technical routes of this paper.The second chapter introduce the cellular automata definition, composition,characteristics and application from the root of the model; At the same time, explainsthe basic idea of the ant algorithm, mathematical expression, algorithm process, thebehavior characteristics of ant and movement rules, and illustrate basic workingprocess of the meta cellular ant algorithm. It provided theoretical basis to following ofthree chapters of the simulation models.The third chapter established model of one-way pedestrian flow simulation insignal control crosswalk of intersection. One-way pedestrian flow is one of the formsof the traffic flow way, the cell update rules embody the characteristics of one-waypedestrian flow by setting actual cellular boundary conditions, establishing thereasonable model of two-dimensional cellular neighbor and selecting the appropriatepheromone update model, thereby to determine the establishment of the model. Thispaper analysis the pheromone influence to related parameters on the model through the simulation results, the simulation results were compared with the actual pedestrianflow, and check the correctness of the model.The fourth chapter found model of the two-way pedestrian flow simulation insignal control crosswalk of intersection. Two-way pedestrian flow is the main form ofthe existence of traffic flow, and pedestrian walking condition is more complex, theimpact between the pedestrians is more serious; also contained the complex situation:pedestrian interaction transposition position. Model fully consider pedestrians walkingcondition, the cell update rules reflect these characteristics. This paper analyzedpheromone the influence to pedestrians through the simulation results, andrelationships pedestrian density of the different directions under certain pedestrianflows, pedestrian flow traffic with pedestrians walking speed and the pass ratepedestrians crossing.The fifth chapter analyses the interference between pedestrians and motorvehicles, and establish model of the two-way pedestrian flow simulation in signalcontrol crosswalk of intersection when motor vehicle is located zebra crossing.Analysis pedestrians walking characteristics in presence of vehicle interference byobserving the simulation results, and study the change pedestrian walking speed andthe pass rate pedestrians crossing when vehicle interference exist. At the same timethis result was compared with the fourth chapter simulation results, analyze vehiclesinterference on the influence degree of pedestrian flows.The sixth chapter summarized full text research contents and conclusions, at thesame time, analysis the accommodation situation of the model, finally put forwardsome further solve the problems.
