Structure of large span deck arch bridge is relatively simple, with compactappearance and large spanning capacity, and it’s a common type of bridge in the highwayprojects in China. Pouring construction method with bridge falsework is specially widelyused in all types of construction methods on reinforced concrete deck arch bridge. Duringthe segment construction of main arch, linear of segments which have been poured cannot be adjusted in the latter part of the construction. Construction control is essential tomake the final bridge line meet the design requirements and ensure that the structuralinternal force of whole bridge in the construction process is in control.Relying on Dr.bridge and Midas civil, the finite element model of the bridgestructure is established. Based on these calculation softwares, comparison is madebetween simulation analysis of the two finite element models for the entire constructionprocess. By setting displacement monitoring points in specified position and buryingstrain sensor in important section, structural deformation and stress data of monitoringsections are obtained. Combining with the finite element results, the theoretical calculatedvalues are analyzed and compared to measured values, and according to influencingfactors for error, the theoretical analysis is carried out to adjust structural analysisparameters promptly. Then static and dynamic loading test is made to obtain performancedata of the arch bridge in the state of normal use,ensuring the final lineament andstructural internal force error of the bridge within its design range.Engineering practice shows that after a series of calculations and adjustment, thequality and safety of the bridge construction is ensured by monitoring whole bridgestructure deformation and internal force in strict accordance with the establishedconstruction monitoring program. The means of monitoring control provides a usefulreference for the in-depth study on similar bridge construction.
