Nowadays, hardware-in-the-loop simulation technology is widely used in the engine ECU development and testing. Hardware-in-the-loop simulation test provides a good environment for the testing and validation of the ECU software algorithms and hardware functions, Can solve some drawbacks in the traditional automotive electronic controller development, can effectively shorten the development cycle and saving development costs. In this thesis, build the ECU hardware in the loop test system based on SMR Simulation platform, and completed the ECU functional test.With an understanding of the "V model" development process and the principles of the engine ECU in HIL test system, the structure and use of SMR simulation platform hardware and software, according to the testing requirements of the self-developed engine ECU, a plan of engine ECU HIL test platform design based on SMR is proposed. According to the characteristics of the engine sensors and actuators, complete engine signal interface module design in the Simulink.In this thesis, engine simulation model is built based on AMESim, MR479Q gasoline engine is the engine model prototype, and realize co-simulation by using simulink interface. Model validation is carried out by means of steady bench test, Mainly to complete the verification of the engine intake manifold pressure, intake air flow and engine torque and so on. Finally, use the ECU HIL test system, test and validate the basic functions of the self-developed ECU.
