Mass Customization achieves to combine the personalization of customers with mass production, make all individualized customer requirements of products get a comprehensive, accurate response, and meanwhile ensure the procreative efficiency and cost of enterprises. It is an effective means that the enterprises improve its competitiveness. However, due to the incomplete product information and design knowledge, it can be usually produced more than one product design scheme in mass customization. An effective decision-making can detect errors and shortcomings of the product design scheme as early as possible. And then revise the scheme timely, as a result improve the efficiency of product design and success rate and reduce the cost of product. Therefore, research on decision-making of product design scheme for mass customization has important economic and strategic significance.Based on the previous studies, the traditional decision-making methods of product design scheme have many disadvantages such as insufficiency of customer participation, strongly subjective to decision indicators obtain, and inaccuracy of information expression for decision-making. Through the theoretical knowledge and methods of Kano model, rough sets, quality function deployment, and two-tuple linguistic, in-depth research is obtain on decision-making of product design scheme, and an decision-making model for mass customization is proposed. The main work of this paper is as follows:Firstly, because of the fuzziness of customer requirements in mass customization, a customer needs analysis model based on the Kano model and rough sets is proposed to make qualitative and quantitative analysis of customer requirements at the same time. The analysis model improves the objectivity of the analytical process and the accuracy of the analysis results.Secondly, because of the insufficiency of customer participation in the decision-making process, a demand mapping method based on quality function deployment and axiomatic design is proposed to make the customer demand respond to the process of product design accurately and effectively. And use rough set to obtain the relationship matrix, in order to improve the objectivity and accuracy of the weight calculation results.Thirdly, the process of information obtaining and expression exist problems of information loss and calculation difficulty. For these problems, a multi-attribute decision-making method based on the two-tuple linguistic and PROMETHEE II is proposed. With the advantage of two-tuple linguistic in the information expression, the accuracy of the decision-making results can be improved. Then alternative schemes can be sorted through PROMETHEE Ⅱ method, achieving the decision-making result of product design scheme.Lastly, a decision-making model product design scheme for mass customization is built. Then use the model to evaluate decisions of fridge design scheme, solving the insufficiency of customer participation. So that the result of fridge design scheme decision-making can meet the customer requirements.
