Due to the global energy crisis and environmental problems, people keep their eyes on small cars and mini cars with low emissions, under this background, the electric car also gradually open the market.More and more people are attracted by the Electric vehicles due to its advantages of zero emissions, energy saving, excellent dynamic performance. In response to the global warming, in response to "low carbon, environmental protection", many countries and regions invest a large amount of money in r&d and manufacture of electric vehicles. At present most of the electric car, however, is only replacement power supply on the basis of the original internal combustion engine car, therefore, reasonable arrangement and transmission efficiency of electrical components problem has become the focus of research and development and technical personnel. With the development of motor technology, the emergence of the hub motors, electric vehicle technology reach to a new starting point, this paper treats Wheel-hub brushless motor as drive motor, designed a electric vehicle controller with two rear wheel driving independently.After referring to relevant information, detailing about the the structure and working principle of the brushless DC motor,, as well as getting the technical specifications electric cars need to achieve, referencing to general design principle of vehicle dynamics parameters, calculating the related parameters of the motor drive system, giving the mathematical model of brushless DC motor, this paper briefly introduces the concepts and mathematical model of the electronic differential. Based on the existing control circuit of brushless DC motor take TMS320F2812as the core processor, developed a multi-functional motor controller which altogether with motor control, speed detection, and current, over-current and under-voltage protection, fault detection. In the aspect of control strategy, this article adopts the double closed-loop control strategy, speed loop adopts the fuzzy PID control with better robustness, current loop adopts the PI control with better effection.Modeling the brushless dc motor double closed loop control system and electronic differential system, then analysis the result of the simulation. Then, the CCS program development software of TI corporation is applied to develop the program of the control system, giving a detailed explanation to several important modules of the program. Finally,the control system hardware and software are debugged, in order to realize stable and reliable of the control system.
