| Damping ratio reflects the parameters of dissipating energy, which has important significance for studying the structure vibration response. For easy figures, the structure design stage usually takes the constant damping ratio. However, this does not really reflect the mechanism of the structure damping, and it also has very big disparity with the measured results of damping ratio. Through the recent10years of research, people have a deep understanding with the building damping and its influencing factors, together with the rapid development of computer technology which can greatly improve the computing power of the people, and the rapid development of engineering practice also require the use of more in line with the actual building structure damping mechanism of damping model. Therefore, the research of nonlinear damping properties and the seismic response of structure become a issue which must be confronted and resolved when the theory of seismic design of buildings has further developments.So far, the document of the nonlinear damping ratio of structure is not much, this paper review the expression formula of damping ratio from some documents, but these expressions had mostly the necessary instructions and analysis of this formula of parameters and symbols of the physical meaning and influence factors. The proposed nonlinear damping ratio formula of different literature are also each not identical, and these impedes the developments of the research on the nonlinear damping performance of reinforced concrete structure.This paper according to the problems, try from the structure materials and components deformation level to research the problem of reinforced concrete structure damping, so that we can understand the nature and the mechanism of the damping. According to the research on the difference of the material and the structure of deformation on the impact of the structural damping ratio of the reinforced concrete structure, it is concluded that the reinforced concrete structure damping does not only relate to the strength of the concrete and reinforcement ratio and the relevant, another important factor is structural deformation. At the same time, this paper put forward an reasonable expression of the damping ratio based on the deformation of the reinforced concrete structure based on the finite element analysis of reinforced concrete structures with ANSYS. Based on the research of nonlinear damping ratio, this paper carries on modal analysis and harmonic response analysis and so on dynamics analysis of a three layers of reinforced concrete frame based on different damping models, and analyses displacement of frequency response of different damping models. Through the contrast analysis, the damping model of this paper has a rational value range. The damping is small when the structural deformation is on the initial stage. When structure goes into the plastic deformation stage until large deformation stage, the damping becomes larger compared with constant damping model. This damping will greatly reduce the earthquake response of the structure and it has certain engineering significance for saving engineering materials. |
