Permanent magnet motor has significant advantages in energy saving and emissionreduction since it has high efficiency advantages. The further improving the permanentmagnet motorefficiencyhas become a focus in the study of motor industrywith the energyintensifying. The research work of this paper is mainly about the issue, which theproportion of mechanical loss in the total loss of line-start permanent magnet synchronousmotor used in the draught fan or the pump is large. This paper focuses on influencingfactorsand reducingmeasures of the fanventilation loss by designing the high efficient fan,and achieve a good energy saving effect, ultimately improving the motor efficiency. Themaincontent as follows:(1)The influences of fan ventilation loss is studied, the temperature of the motor iscalculated based on equivalent thermal network, the electromagnetic design scheme anditerative methods. under the premise of the motor temperature rise to meet the insulationrequirements, the relationship between thecooling air flow volume and motor temperaturerise is studied, not only get the optimum air volume value of the fan, and come to theconclusionas follows: reasonable matchof the air volume of the fan, motor efficiencyandeffectivematerial usage is a key of thehigh-efficiency fandesign.(2)Based on the ventilation cooling characteristics of line-start permanent magnetsynchronous motor, the traditional tub fan has been improved, the motor efficiencyincreases by0.41%; Write design procedures of high efficient axial flow fan, through thedesign of efficient axial flow colling system,the motor efficiency increases by0.68%, thenewaxial fan energysaving effectis remarkable.(3)Based on the characteristics of the axial fan airfoil blade, every sectional airfoildata cross section profile data is set up, combined with space coordinate conversion andExcel data with the parameter change can automatic correction function, the blademodeling is designed by using SolidWorks, not only fully displaying space structure ofaxial fan, andto ensure that the fluiddynamics of the blade, andalso laying the foundation for the axial flowfanflow fieldanalysis.(4)In the final of this paper, the numerical simulation of full channel axial fan modelis simulated to study air flow distribution using CFX, and the design of axial fan isrationality.
