Comparing with spherical lens, the aspheric surface optics lens has more degree of freedom to design. A piece of aspheric lens could substitute multi-pieces spherical lens. With application of aspheric lens, the optical system would simplify the structure, decrease the volume, reduce the weight obviously. But the aspheric surface lens is very difficult to manufacture. The inefficient processing and low accuracy of machining are major reasons to restrict the application of aspheric optical elements.In this paper, the advanced technology of aspheric manufacturing is studied by using the instruments ASM300and ASP200of OPTOTECH Company Germany. The aspheric manufacturing method is introduced, which is based on the errors offset principle technology. The influence of the aspheric figure by the end-point of the machining program and diameter of wheel during the fine manufacturing process is analyzed. The influence of the pendulum angle, the relative speed between the workpiece and tool during the aspheric polishing processing by using large area polishing die is analyzed, and then the analysis results have been validation via experiment. According to the hypothesis—Preston removal function equation, and combining with the movement of large polishing die, the polishing removal function model about large area of polishing mold is built, which could provide a theory to study the large area polishing mold and optimize the parameters in polishing process for further; The technology of polishing aspheric surface with large-area polished mold is developed in this paper. According to the polishing characteristics of large-area polishing mold, parameters optimizing method of polishing process is supplied, which is based on region removal efficiency; Finally, doing the experiment by the ASM300and ASP200aspheric surface processing devices, it gains aspheric surface profile with PV=0.459u m in120minutes. Experiments show that with a large polishing mold to polish aspheric surface will be capable of obtaining high accuracy surface, it also could inhibit high-frequency error efficiently, and take the sense of providing reference method to process bulk machining aspheric surface efficiently.
