| The fuel cell plant of vehicle is usually running in the open condition. Thepaper developed a closed cycle fuel cell experiment based on limited underwaterapplication, which consists of gas management system, cooling watermanagement system, humidifying system and monitoring system.Considering the function, security and reliability of closed cycle fuel cellplant, the gas management system, cooling water management system, humidifying system and monitoring system of the device are designed properly. The control system of power plant is programmed using STEP7software anddownloaded to the PLC to control the actuator. To ensure reasonable reactorpressure, the PID control algorithm is applied to control gas and cooling waterinto the reactor, and the monitor screen of closed cycle fuel cell experimentaldevice is got using Siemens WinCC software. The PLC and WinCC work togetherby MPI communication.Based on the completion of the experimental design and building, the wiringand commissioning of each component of the system are done according to theworking requirements of the plant to ensure normal work and coordination. From the closed cycle hydroxide experiment, it can be found that with theincrease of pressure, the catalysts contact with reactants more effectively, enhancing the electrode surface reaction speed, reducing the activation loss, andincreasing the voltage of reversible open circuit which helps improving thepolarization characteristics of the device. As stack working temperature increases, the value of the current exchange density (i0) becomes larger, thereby reducing theactivation loss and improving the device performance. Controlling the opening ofemptying valve can switch between closed conditions and open conditions. Theexperiment performed in closed condition and open condition indicates that theperformance of the device decrease slightlyAccording to the experimental features and the latest technology, the key technologies suitable for submersible vehicle are solved preliminarily. Finally, theintegrated design of closed cycle fuel cell plant for underwater vehicle iscompleted. |
