The flow in compressor is full3-D, viscous and unsteady with great complicate. Though the computational fluid dynamics in turbomachinery has been developed from2-D inviscid analysis into3-D viscous analysis, and a great program has been made of3-D unsteady numerical simulation, it does not satisfy engineering requirement very well. Making full understand of the real flow field and flow rule of the compressor and aerodynamic performance of the non-design point, and solving the potential problems of compressor design are still based on compressor experiment and advanced test method.The design parameters and aero performance of a7-stage core compressor, which has never been researched internal, are much higher and better than the compressors on the same lever. It is very important to start the research of the components to discover the problems of aerodynamics, structure and strength. This research task focuses on the verification of the aerodynamics performance of the front3stages of the7-stage compressor. The first and second stages are full supersonic design, and the third stage is transonic design. The pressure ratio of each stage is high, and the stage load is heavy. The structure design and the verification of the compressor test rig are both to satisfy the measurements of the aerodynamic parameters and the safety of the running.On the scheme stage, based on the design requirement of the3-stage compressor test rig, a lot aspects such as the distribution of each components, the structure and bearing of the rotors, the structure of the stators, test rig and the choice of the supports, the bearing lubrication, the seals, the adjustment of the rotor dynamics, the elastic supporting, the elastic Squeeze Film Damper, the axial force adjustment, the rig test and monitor, the structure feasibility and so on have been analyzed, and the structure scheme of the multistage axial compressor test rig has been finished.On the engineering stage, the problems of the scheme stage have been solved, and the structure has been optimized. The finalized structure design, the selection of materials, the technics process coordination, the detail measurement and monitor set, and the related detail design have been finished. All the design and analysis results are carried out in the design reports and engineering design charts.After the assembly of the compressor test rig, the rotate speed adjustment and primary performance test have been carried out. The calculation and analysis about the measurements, the test bed, the design and the machining have been finished to solve the problem that there is a large difference between the primary test parameters and the design requirements. Some efficient improvement methods have been proposed.The measured mass flow, total pressure ratio and the stall margin of the improved compressor test rig achieved the design requirements, but the efficiency is lower, which should be verified in the subsequent test of the7-stage compressor rig.
