| The year of2011is a milestone of the development of Chinese urbanizationhistory, it is the first time that the proportion of the population living in city areaexceed50%. As Most of the cities in China are experiencing a period of fastdeveloping, thus it is unavoidable for those phenomenon, such as a large proportionof lay off, increasing stress on potable water supply, traffic jam, environmentdeteriorating and the increase of various risks, to happen in a city which has a fastspeed of expending and urbanization, over size, attracting too many people in a veryshort time. The development form which named “stands pie†normally exists in thecity that has a single centre in China. The development of cities in our country has toface to problems of urbanization and motorization, and the traditional structure ofsuper high density and single centre is keep on changing now, so a key problem whichshould be concerned by urban planning is about how to compose a transit-orientedurban structure which can leads to a sustainable development for the cities.The construction of rail transit in Chang Sha was formally started on2009, untilnow the rail traffic ‘line1’ and the first-stage project of’ line2’ are in constructingprocess, which will be finished and then put into a formal business service on October,2003. This research analyzed the effect elements of rail traffic on the space structureof city and made clear statements about the concepts of city rail traffic, city spacestructure and commercial space structure by combining research results from bothdomestic and oversea first, and then summarized research outcomes of relevant topicsfrom both domestic and overseas, and made a systematically combination between thetheories of the structure of urban commercial space and rail traffic for another time inorder to create a solid theoretical basement for the related discussion of this paper. Byanalyzing those cities which have a mature using of rail traffic, such as Hong Kong,Shang Hai, Guang Zhou, this paper summarized the interaction between commercialspace structure and rail traffic of city.By investigating the effect of rail traffic exerts on business activities, explore theinfluencing mechanism, the influence mechanism between rail traffic and commercialspace structure was concluded. In addition, by assessing and investigating thedevelopment history of Chang Sha’s city space, and analyzing the effect of rail trafficconstruction on the city space, it can be finally make sure that the development type of Shang Sha ‘s city space would be transformed from the ‘single centre’,’ envelopedeveloping’ type into a type which has ‘multi-centre’, equalizing, networked andcluster grouped space structure. And then summarizing the trend of rail trafficdevelopment of Chang Sha from the initial stage of construction, to the embryonicforming stage and then to the stage of increasing the density of rail traffic networkand made statements about the influence of current stage construction on thecommercial space of Chang Sha city and the trends and problems of the reformed ofcommercial space based on the type of rail traffic. Finally, the future model ofcommercial space structure of Chang Sha was decided. |
