This paper deeply investigates from two aspects based on WebGIS, map-based information management and security information management system. Fist, it achieves information management system based on WebGIS. It obtains each node in the power supply of the longitude and latitude coordinates by a global positioning system GPS system and draws power network nodes using internet MAP API interface Group. It describes a group most intuitively, most accurately and most understandably. All levels of management and technical staff accurately manages knowledge of power system information easily. The system supplies basis of production management and effective decision-making for the security of electricity. Second, it achieves the safety information management based on mine power grid. It includes infrastructure information management, trial management, technology records management of measurement equipment, measurement network diagrams and management of work sheet process-oriented. Supply security information management achieves the high degree of sharing management information of the power plant, security, technology management department and the main workshop and effectively improves the health and safety of the equipment management.
