With the rapid development of modern industry, the number of tall building is increasing day by day. To realize the large space building with good indoor air quality and thermal environment and energy conservation, the key is to choose reasonable air organization. In this paper, taking a printing plant as an object of study, we use numerical simulation method for optimization research on horizontal unidirectional air flow mode with stratified air conditioning. The purpose is to get more reasonable and optimization of air flow mode, while satisfying the thermal environment and technological requirements in the air conditioned space.Firstly, the horizontal unidirectional air flow mode with stratified air conditioning is introduced. The supply air of perforated panels is designed and calculated according to the design and calculation of main steps of the supply air of perforated panels, provides the basis for the numerical simulation. Then, a physical model is built and the wall boundary conditions of the building envelope are determined. The primary horizontal unidirectional air flow mode with stratified air conditioning is numerical simulated and analyzed. Finally, optimization program of four air flow modes are chosen, the simulation results are analyzed and compared for the indoor thermal environment and contamination concentration of the numerical simulation. Influences in main work zone of supply or exhaust air in air conditioned space and air exchange rates in non-air conditioned space are analyzed, the horizontal unidirectional uniform air flow mode is optimized, we get the ideal horizontal unidirectional air flow mode with stratified air conditioning.In this paper, the horizontal unidirectional air flow mode with stratified air conditioning is optimized, indoor contamination concentration is lower, it improves indoor air quality and gets good indoor thermal environment. The research results provide a design basis of the large space plants for the design of air conditioning system.
