In order to meet the rapid development of economy at home, the building of highways, railways and other infrastructure have been supported by the government, especially the high-speed rail and highway construction. However, with the rapid completion of these road constructions, how to detect their quality becomes an important issue.This issue is aimed to study the method of judging the quality of the road by detecting the road’s compactness, with the realization of the principle being transient impact spectrum analysis. In the system, the acceleration transducer was used to detect the data, the DSP chip processed the data, and the PC software is used to be analyzed. This method is user-friendly, high precision, real-time convenience.The main content is listed as following:1. To discuss the general approach of the road to test the quality and compare them found their advantages and disadvantages.Road quality testing have a variety of mature technologies now, including the original lossy detection, such as sand replacement method, the cutting ring, and a variety of high-tech non-destructive testing such as the nuclear emission method. GPR method. Through the introduction of a variety of detection methods, the issue analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of each method.2.To explore the theoretical basis of this design-Transient shock spectrum analysisThe principle of this design is the transient impact of spectrum analysis method, namely when some objects impacted on the soil base, the different density of the soil had the different absorption of impact energy, then the acceleration transducer received different signals.Comparison of the measured signal spectrum to identify the influence from moisture the SG water stagnation band, we will judge whether the degree meets engineering requirements comparing the size of the hysteresis band of spectrum.3.To design DSP system module design based on the acceleration sensorIt has designed a suit of hardware circuit system, written the PC control software and lower machine function program.including the function of the waveform data acquisition. signal processing and transmission. The PC software is written in VB Environment, to facilitate the display and storage of data.In terms of the degree of compaction detection, there has already been a lot of mature methods, but these have their own shortcomings, and those methods could not keep up with the rapid development of the domestic demand of the highway’s construction. The design attempts to be able to come up with a convenient and economical compaction detector, which is the starting point for research in this article.
