Along with the construction of power system and the development of power system automation, the scale of the power system is continuously extending, the power grid is becoming more and more complex. Therefore, the dispatcher’work become more and more tough:the power grid information is too much to get the status as a whole; it’s difficult for dispatchers to determine the fault location and severity because there are so many alarm information when power grid is in a abnormal situation; it is difficult to ensure the security and economic limited by time and space.It is necessary to construct a new operating state visualizing platform by using power system analysis methods, numerical analysis methods and computer data processing and visualizing technique. We Can take full advantage of human apperceive to graph, show power system information using figure, consequently, it can display correlative data of power grid state intuitionisticly, and achieve the purpose that improve operator’s efficiency and reduce fault occurring rate when power grid running.The intelligent dispatch of Linyi’s power grid including early Warning and Surveillance, the estimation of power gird, strategy, electrical network economy operation, operation safety check, three-dimensional visualization is a useful assistant of the automation of power system, it helps improving the safety and economy of Linyi’s electrical network and relieving the pressure of dispatcher. It also research the operation economy of Linyi’s electrical network from transformer economy operation, the change of power grid operation mode, reactive power optimization, and display the results on the platform of three dimensions visualization.Smart grid is the development trend of power system. Intelligent dispatching, as an important part of smart grid, is the new development direction of dispatching.
