As more and more state investment in the western region, a lot of slope problems,especially the rock slope, are encountered in project construction, and in most parts ofthe Western region are located in Eastern Mediterranean-Himalayan earthquake belt, sothe effect of seismic loading is more frequent there, and the blasting technology whichis often used in engineering construction provides a dynamic load for the slope. Thedestructive power of rock slope instability has caused great damage to all types ofbuilding structures of toe of the slope. Therefore, studying of rock slope failuremechanism under dynamic loads and researching the appropriate treatment techniquesare significance.This paper uses the method of combining theoretical analysis and numericalsimulation techniques to study the dynamic stability of the rock slope and treatmenttechnology, the main research work is summarized as follows.①The facters which affect the dynamic stability of the rock slope are summarizedrespectively from rock mass factors (topography, geological structure, lithology, rockmass structure) and disturbance (earthquake, water effects, weathering, vegetationeffects).In the paper, it focuses on analysising the various factors on the rock slopestability under earthquake loading.②The disaster chain of slope is divided conclusively, by applying Chain-styledtheory of the disaster to study the evolutionary process of rock slope under earthquakeaction. Based on this, the paper study the mechanism of mitigating the disaster bycutting the disaster chain in the headstream and provide reference for the treatment ofrock slope.③The rock slope is analyzed from several commonly directions, which include themechanism of some treatment technology, treatment effect and range ofapplication.Based on it, the design process of bolt support rock slope is analyzed, anddeduce the optimum anchoring angles and the calculation formula of landslide slidingalong the structure surface, and then assay the area of anchor reinforcement, length,resistance and anti-corrosion.④This article verifies the validity of the cut slopes less contained method andanalyses of the rock slope’s stability under the seismic loads by using of the ABAQUSfinite element software. Be based on the bolt support design of Chapter IV, the paper uses the ABAQUS finite element software to analyze the dynamic stability of the rockslope which contains the supporting bolt in different directions under earthquake,andcomparatively analysis the rock slope which has not supporting bolt.
