With the developing of technology.3D Geological Modeling and FEA had a significant progess. At the same time, people are no longer content with just an analysis of Earth-rock dam on the two-dimensional graphics.So three-dimensional effect is taken into factor need considered has become a reality. The model which was built by3D Geological Modeling.looks artistic and vivid, but cannot be calculated, while the model which was built by FEA software could do numerical simulating,and the result would be supporting information when engineers made some decisions.So people understand where do should take attention, where do need monitoring.But the modle had too much hypothesis. Obviously there is a contradiction, then how to build a bridge between two technology, so that the model not only to see but also to do numerical simulating.This thesis did some research about the bridge of3D Geological Modeling and three-dimensional FEA, did some attempt to the transformation of3D Terrain Modeling,3D Stratigraphic Modeling and3D FEA.and built model for numerical simulation of seepage field and coupling static force fields. The first step:Based on three kinds of software:AUTOCAD, GOCAD, HYPERMESH. Original data processing used AUTOCAD.Elevation point discretization was did by GOCAD.Modei was built in HYPERMESH.The second step:Numerical simulation. NAS format is the general format between HYPERMESH and ADINA.So to import NAS format and to analyze results:(1) In ADINA-T module,the theory of temperature field and seepage field is similar.Sloving seepage field, analysis the effect of cut-off wall in earth and rockfill dam.and the effort of the lenth of cut-off wall in earth the earth and rockfill dam to bypass seepage;(2) To export seepage field calculation results, doing analysis of the result of fluid-structure interaction in ADINA-STRUCTURE module,and discussing the inflence of young’s modulus for cut-off wall in Earth-rock dam on stress and displacement.This thesis attempts a preliminary way to combined with3D Geological Modeling and FEA, to restructure the geological condition of dam more vividly than before, to get the result of stresses and displacements in Earth-rock dam more correctly than before. A classic said:A hope that my crude remarks may draw forth by abler people.So this thesis can be an precious experience for the perfect achievement in the future.
