| We performed a project including a series of experiments in order to study the characteristics of the energy characteristics of super-low head shaft-well tubular pump unit. Meanwhile, the commercial analytical software was also applied for numerical simulation. The whole project was supported by the pumping station at the east hub of the canal in Changzhou, Jiangsu province.The east hub pumping station is located at estuary of the Jing-Hang canal, which is mainly resposiable to not only floodprotection,but improvement of water environment of City of Changzhou. The Characteristics of parameters is:Q=100m3/s, H=1.0m, D=3.0m, n=95r/min. Several experimental models were seriouly examined and the350ZMB-3.8model from Centre China University of Technology was selected. The model test was performed in the lab of Yangzhou University.The energy characteristics were tested with different blade angle, including-4,-2,0,2,4. And based on the results, we polted two overall characteristic curves of both original pump and its model. Meanwhile, we also tested the runaway speed and cavitation erosion characteristic while the pump was working with different angles of impeller.The ananlysis of numerical simulation was completed by Flucent. Based on the ananlysis data, we improved and optimized the orignal model of the inlet and outlet channels and the water power characteristics in the channels.Based on the results that we got from these experments, we propose several contractive advices for the future development of the pumping station. |
