The control of Microscope has been studied for a long time.The microscope is as an indispensable tool for people to observe the microscopic world and plays an important role in the various disciplines research and applications. However, the mode of operation of the traditional microscope is mainly based on the manual operation. For a long time, to a certain extent, such a microscope meets the needs of human observation of the microscopic world.With the increasing demand for processing samples and detection speed, the traditional microscope manual mode of operation can not meet the human progress of the microscopic world to explore. Automatic control of the microscope has been high degree of automation in the foreign markets, but the price relative to domestic users, the more expensive. Although several companies have modified microscope automation control system but have not been populary in the country yet. In view of the microscope of self-control at home and abroad, to develop a control system of the microscope which is not only economic but also automatic loading has good market prospects.In this paper, from the hardware platform to build and control system design, in-depth study of the system is discussed. In detail, the optical microscope, self-control to control the stage of the design and development process, design a control system of a domestic technology leader in the Automatic Loading microscope platform. Through the analysis of the basic working principle of the microscope, presented from several aspects of the loading platform, focusing mechanism, the slide piece tower, bar code gun to the design and development, put forward the idea to microscope automatic pick and place the slide, and programming the host computer via Ethernet and serial control control board, control board to control the axis, auto focus, auto-read the slide bar code.Generally speaking, four parts are included in the thesis.First, complete the system’s overall hardware design. It’s mainly the hardware platform built, including the design of the mechanical structure of compact machine platform Automatic Loading. Second, make use of virtual prototyping technology to do some motion simulation to analysis the system.Third, complete control system hardware and software design. Hardware design is to design a control system which is consist of a main controller based on the chip of STM32and the Leisai M415B drive; and develope a system interface communication protocol.Fourth, analysis of the working principle of the microscope, combined with the characteristics of the controller with embedded ARM to complete the peripheral supporting man-machine interface to achieve touch, and develop a set of auto-focus microscope automatic control strategy.
