With the implementation of National Agriculture policy, three-wheeled vehiclefor agriculture have a growing market. However, vibration problems become anobstacle to the development of Wuzheng Group and the National Agriculture vehicleindustry.For this reason,this research is based on the project of probing the dynasticproperty of the three-wheeled vehicle produced by Wuzheng Group.In order to prevent the three-wheeled vehicle resonating,ensure the safety and reliableness, we have to probe its dynamic characteristic. Modify the structure so as toget a better vibration characteristic, if necessary. A structural dynamic ModalAnalysis method is a good testing way to get the structure dynamic characters. Wecan get the structure of the natural frequencies and mode shapes and other modalparameters accurately by experimental modal analysis and finite element analysistechniques, so as to guidance and evaluation of new design.So, in this paper we discussed the vibration characteristics of three-wheeledvehicle development and research status at home and abroad. We summarizes thevibration theory approach in domestic and foreign vehicle, and finish several jobs:built the total three-wheeled vehicle FEA model base on deeply considering thesuspension mode, exciting type and location which will have a great impact on testresults; use the FEA software ANSYS to analysis the three-wheeled vehicle’characters, access natural frequency vibration mode of the total structure for guidingthe experimental modal analysis; with the help of FEA modal analysis result andModal test related equipment, determine reasonable plan and the sensor location and quantity for vibration modal test, ultimately, get a modal analysis results,including the parameters related to testing modal analysis.According to results of this article, we recommendations how to improve thestructure of the three-wheeled vehicle based on the experimental modal analysis andthe finite element modal analysis, we improving the damping performance and thecomfortableness of the three-wheeled vehicle.
