Metal Pushing Belt Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) has the advantage of simple structure, low cost, long life and easy for integrated control, can give full play of engine’s characteristic, can improve the gas efficiency, driving force, driving comfort and ride performance and so on. So CVT is always the pursuing by people. Nowadays, all CVT adopts hydraulic system to pressure on the cone-plate to control the speed ratio. In this paper, the Electronic Mechanical Continuously Variable Transmission adopts rolling screw mechanism to pressure on the cone-plate. And it uses electronic to control mechanical speed governor institutions to change the ratio. It Abandoned the wasting energy’s hydraulic system. So it reduced the auto’s consume of oil obviously, Transmission manufacturing costs and failure rate.So it has great significance on research and practical value.In this paper,mainly reserch on the control system and test of EM CVT as follows:(1) Made deeply research on the structure and principle of EMCVT, made clear on the control target.(2) Finished the design of circuit principle of main controller and making of circuit board and main contol box.(3) Finished the design of circuit principle of motor driving module and making of driving module contol box.(4) Finished design and making of manual control box and automatically control box of EMCVT.(5) Made deeply research on the control strategy of starting clutch, finished the fuzzy controller design of starting clutch, including establish of control rules and main control table.(6) Based on the data of engine experiment, established the numerical value model, power model and fuel consuming model. Based on these data and models, best economical target ratio and best driving target ratio could be calculated and provided to control system for EMCVT control. (7) Made deeply research on the EMCVT ratio control strategy. Put forward PIDcontrol algorithm of object speed ratio tracking and improved PID control algorithm.(8) Based on the experiment requirements, designed and made the manual controlexperiment table of EMCVT. And did related experiments.(9) Based on the control characteristic of EMCVT and the demand of EMCVT test,finished the design and making of EMCVT platform experiment table.(10) Finished platform experiment of EMCVT. Tested the functionality and rationalityof the mechanical structure of EMCVT. And tested the feasibility and rationality of controlsystem.
