The object of this article is to give an design of the ship emergency power management system according to the CCS’s "Rules for Steel ships", based on an adequate theory analysis.The ship’s emergency power system and its related management equipment performance is the key factor of the ship’s safety under all kinds of working conditions. In the event of the power lose of the main power source, the emergency shipboard’s performance is very important, concerned with the start of the emergency generator, and switch on fast and correctly. In the view of the above problems, the object of this paper is just to give an design to realize an good behave power management system. The system employs a HMI as a control computer, and use the S7-300PLC produced and designed by the Siemens Company as the sub-computer. The system use the ADP to program the HMI, and design the auto-start, auto-stop, switch-on, switch-off, fault alarm and the parameter display program by use of the Step7software. Based on the math model of the emergency power system, utilize the MATLAB/Simulink tools to simulate the condition of the load of sudden-raise and sudden-lower, the result shows that the model is exactly fulfill the rules from CCS. The Classification of the program by the S7-PLCSIM shows that the program can satisfy the requirement of the ship and the CCS’s "Rules for Steel ships"...
