With the development of integrated circuits, power integrated circuits and microprocessors, permanent magnet synchronous motors have been widely used in machine tools, aerospace servo, multi-axis motion control system and robot control. This paper discussed the permanent magnet synchronous motor from the algorithm, hardware and experiments and provided some meaningful references in its practical application.Permanent magnet synchronous motor belongs to one part of the AC motor control. Firstly, this paper summed up the background of AC drive and AC servo, and reviewed the history of the motor industry at home and abroad. Then it abstracted the mathematical model of permanent magnet synchronous motor through analyzing its rotor magnetic circuit structure and provided the dynamic and static index for system speed controlling. Finally, given the field-oriented control, permanent magnet synchronous motor control could be equivalent to the DC motor control, and the torque current and the excitation current could be controlled separately. Based on automatic control theory and the basic principles of motion control systems, this paper analyzed the application of traditional PID in the permanent magnet synchronous motor control system, which was compared with the dynamic fuzzy neural network controller and tested by MATLAB.What’s more, according to the principle and control idea this topic built a hardware platform based on TMS320F2812control and mainly redesigned the sampling current and the AD7606A/D conversion circuit to improve the controlling performance of the current tune machine. Finally the reliability of the design was verified by the dynamometer load simulation experiment under different controlling parameters, which also obtained the waveform.
