Research Of Hydraulic Engineering Concrete Construction In Winter

Hydraulic engineering is one of the most important parts of the infrastructure construction in our country. The project size is big; the cost is huge and the quality requirements are strict. In order to guarantee the projects meet the requirements for the flood season or put into use before the irrigation period, the winter construction always couldn’t be avoided. The winter in Jilin province is always as long as half of the year and causes the implementation scheduling delay. The most important part influenced by the winter climate is the concrete construction. The concrete construction is not only influenced by the quality requirements of the concrete and the complex of the construction technique, but also by the freeze-thaw cycle. If we couldn’t cognize the influence of the freeze-thaw cycle and take the improper preventive measures, it may cause the accidents and the big loss to our countey and nation. So it is important to cognize the freeze-thaw cycle and take the proper prevention to guarantee the quality of the winter construction.This paper first sets forth the basic theories of the concrete, such as the concrete constitution, classifications and the characteristics. Then it goes through a through research on the influence of the freeze-thaw cycle in the winter conctrete construction. In this research, the basic theories about the freeze-thaw cycle are presented first. Then the related experiments are listed. As the air entraining is acknowledged as the most efficient way to prevent the freezing and thawing destroy, this paper introduces the principles, requirements, influencing factors, other influences by using this way as well as the air entraining agents. Combined the theory research with the practical experiences, this paper illustrates the key points and the maintenance methods in the winter concrete construction. Then it points out the quality management in the winter concrete construction. Meanwhile it studies the winter concrete construction with a real case. In the end, it put forward a few suggestions to the winter concrete construction.This paper studies the related problems associated with the freeze-thaw cycle. It illustrates the mechanism, damage and puts forward the efficient ways to prevent the freezing and thawing destroy in order to make the research about the freeze-thaw cycle in the winter concrete construction systematic.
