Research On The Treatment Of Xinglong River In City Section

Gongzhuling is a county-level city governed by Siping city which located in the middle part of province Jilin between Siping city and Changchun city.The city section lies to the right bank of Dongliao River which Xinglong River pours into from southeast to west among this city, Xinglong River is a right branch of middle stream of Dongliao River and is the main stream of city section, it has a length of42.8km and the river basin is238km2, the stream gradient is2.0‰and there are branches run into it named Niujiatun River and Changyangshi River.Recently, as the urbanization is processing, the condition of watercourse is facing threatening seriously. The subject majors are as followed:the main river channel is mainly covered by sludge and has the wrong width, the sections are irregular; The bank slopes of the two sides are too wide to make the flood diffuse freely to make the farmland submerged, it threatened the life of people around and their properties, also the city construction and the living circumstances around them because of the low flood control standard; Lacking of repair and reducing the channel to farm, largely washlands are occupied; Vegetations around the banks are damaged to lead the water loss and soil erosion, dump rubbish on the banks to make the river channel narrow which reduced the flood carrying capacity, once flooding it will make serious threatening to the farmland and the safety of the houses around the two sides of the river.Based on this situation, this paper aimed at the main problems of Xinglong River to develop research on treating it. Select the city section between farther than350m of Jingha railway and railway bridge downstream of a length of3.44km as a model area. This paper introduced the natural geography, meteorological environment, hydrology and geology of the study area to ascertain the regional situation, project hydrological parameters and geology circumstances. Plan the overall design of this project including the layout of the flat surface plan and section selection, dike project and its revement design optimization, desilting project and constructions design including the steps, pedestrian trails, discharge culvert which pass through the banks and revetment walls of a banch. the emphasis is the ecologicalization, water-facing character and landscape character. It analysed the process of project construction as the construction will go through the flood season and discussed the problems which should be attentioned during construction. When the project is finished, it needs strict management and careful maintaining, finally, it briefly introduced the management and maintaining. Ecologicalization, water-facing character and landscape character of treatment of watercourse project pays more and more attention from people, the project design of this paper accords with this trend, and then summarize and outlook the watercourse treatment project to provide the experience and guide for similar project.
