Dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC) is a new type of photoelectric chemical solar cell basedon Nanotechnology, which mainly imitates photosynthesis of the plant. DSSC has greatadvantages in large-scale industrial productions because of its low cost and relatively simpleprocess technology. Meanwhile, all the raw materials and production technologies arenontoxic and pollution free, in addition, part of materials can be recycled sufficiently, which isgreatly meaningful to the protection of human environment. In this thesis, the pure TiO2filmlight positive electrode is made in powder coating method, at the same time, the ZnO/TiO2multiple film light positive electrode is made by introducing semiconductor ZnO into the pureTiO2film. The crystal form of the film、the surface topography and optical properties arecharacterized in modern methods such as XRD、SEM and ultraviolet-visible-near infraredspectrum. Afterwards the photoelectric property of the assembled cell is been tested. The process parameters of TiO2film made in powder coating method are optimizedthrough orthogonal test, in which four main influencing factors (acetylacetone、 OPemulsifier、the volume of distilled water and milling time) are studied. The experience resultindicates that the crystal structure of the TiO2film made in powder coating method is amixture of anatase and rutile, in which the anatase phase, with high purity, is in dominatingposition, and has trend of picking over. The optimum technological parameters are0.2ml ofacetylacetone,10ml of distilled water,0.1ml of OP emulsifier and a grinding time of60minutes. The film made under these parameters has very good photoelectric properties, with aphotovoltaic conversing efficiency of4.51%.In this thesis, the ZnO/TiO2compounding film is made by introducing wide bandgapsemiconductor ZnO into the TiO2film made in powder coating method under the optimumtechnological parameters. The optical properties and surface topographies of the ZnO/TiO2are characterized by ultraviolet-visible-near infrared spectrophotometer and field-emissionscanning electron microscopy. The affects of soaking time onto the optical and electrical properties during the production of the film are studied, then the comparison with pure TiO2film is made. The results indicates that, under the soaking time of80minutes, the compoundfilm has a moderate thickness, the dark current is blocked tremendously, the band gapstructure of electrode is developed and meanwhile the optimum cell optical and electricalproperties are achieved, whose efficiency reaches4.99%.The photovoltaic conversingefficiency is10.6%higher when compared with pure TiO2film.
