Main helium ventilator driving motor is used in nuclear power operationsystem, so it is reliability. It adopts frequency conversion to supply power.Frequency conversion power has good starting performance, so motor design canignore starting performance; It also uses helium cooling, helium has goodthermal conductivity, therefore in temperature performance of the motor itsoperation reliability is far superior to the air cooling. Main helium ventilatordriving motor has strong commonality and it is very extensive. It provides a gooddevelopment prospect.According to the characteristics of frequency conversion motor two kinds ofdifferent size of the rotor slot form were designed, according to electromagneticfield and temperature field theory asynchronous motor was simulated andcalculated. Two kinds of motor electromagnetic performance were comparativeanalyzed. The result shows the rotor slot which has wide top and narrow bottomand appropriate shallow height can improve motor efficiency and it is moresuitable to the frequency conversion motor.Stator and rotor of main helium ventilator driving motor simultaneously hadaxial and radial ventilation system, so three dimensional temperature field wasadopted. Solving domain was axial to intermediate part with radial ventilation, astator slot and two rotor slots. The radial and axial ventilation ditch insidesurface and the air gap heat coefficient calculation method was presented.Temperature distribution of the motor stator was obtained. A conclusion is thatrotor slot with wide top and narrow bottom and appropriate shallow height canmake temperature reduce and it is available for running.The causes and calculation method of main helium ventilator driving motoradditional loss were analyzed. It showed the stray loss distribution and numericalvalue. Based on the results of two dimensional transient field calculation,coupling method of field and circuit was applied and calculated additional loss respectively under different slot coordination at rated-load operation condition. Itshows that near groove cooperate is good for reducing additional loss.Asynchronous motor with harmonic equivalent circuit model was given,through the model and calculation formula the three kinds of groove cooperatesof asynchronous and synchronous additional torque was calculated.Asynchronous additional torque produces at any moment and synchronousadditional torque only produces in specific cases and the risk of synchronousadditional torque is bigger. Based on the electromagnetic vibration experienceformula and above analysis results, the best groove cooperate scheme of mainhelium ventilator driving motor is given.
