| With the gradually increase of the truck population in our country, the probabilityof parents bring their children with them is larger, so it’s necessary to concern aboutthe safety of child passengers. Take the safety and the convenience into account, thispaper proposed a new combined multifunctional child safety seat.The combined multifunctional child safety seat for children aged from0to3years old is made up of child safety seat and barrow bracket, which can fulfill thedouble function of these two parts. The child safety seat not only can be installedforwards and backwards in the back seat of the car, but also can be assembled on thebarrow bracket. This paper had accomplished both the structure design and the samplepreproduction of the combined multifunctional child safety seat.At first, the method of computer simulation was used for the study of child safetyseat; then the structural strength analysis of the child safety seat were developed usingnonlinearity finite element analysis software LS-DYNA, the optimum structuralconcept was obtained according to the finite element analysis results; at last, Thefrontal and lateral collision multi-rigid body simulation models of the combinedmultifunctional child safety seat were developed using multi-rigid body dynamicsoftware MADYMO, some key parameters of the child seat were investigated, e.g. theposition of the nodes on the five-spot safety belts, the position of the lock catch, theposition of the head flank, to get the further optimum concept.The results indicated that this new type of combined multifunctional child safetyseat could realize the double function of the child safety seat and the barrow bracketwell. To some extent, this safety seat can provide effective protection for the childrenaged approximately from0to3years old.The research results had reference value on the study of children passenger safetyand the development of multifunctional child safety seat technology in china. |
