Taking the reliability and safety of industrial processes into consideration, the requirements of the product features are more than the function of product. The instrument’s reliability and safety has become a very important indicator of the instrument’s international competitiveness. Abroad, especially in Europe and the United States, there are so many high industry standard requirements of instruments and electronic products. These standards ensure the reliability and safety of industrial instruments. The instruments designed according to this series of standards and theories show a great advantage in reliability and safety. The other hand, in domestic, although the engineers have constantly improved the awareness of reliability and safety, it needs to further improve compared with Europe and the United States.This paper uses FMECA, FTA and Bayesian network to analyse the reliability of HART multiplexer which is a product from SIPAI. Through the analysis, some qualitative information and quantitative data is obtained, which can guide the improvement of HART Multiplexer in the future. The paper also explores the application of reliability theory in industrial product analysis.The paper completes the analysis of FMECA according to GJBZ1391-2006and the structural features of HART multiplexer system. The paper obtains the details of reliability design data and the degree of damage by the FMECA quantitative analysis. The paper explains the data of FMECA quantitative analysis form. For the qualitative analysis, the paper considers the opinions of several experts by Fuzzy FMECA method to make it possible to complete the qualitative analysis before getting the details of design. The paper also uses FTA method to supplement the FMECA quantitative analysis, do quantitative analysis for some subtree of the fault tree. From the point of reliable product designer, the conditional probability of the componets’failure mode plays an important role in determining the deisign of local circuit module and the choice of components. So the paper converts some special fault tree to Bayesian network, and does quantitative analysis to get the conditional probability of failure impact by Bayesian network.
