Dual Clutches Transmission is under the spot light after its production, it’s widely praised for its excellence, and considered as the trend, but DCT are not largely used except for VolksWagen series cars, ATs are more popular in cars equipped with automatic transmission, that’s mainly due to the following reasons:Firstly, technological security enables DCT producers, Borgwarner and LUK, to block the key technological details from wide spreading, which greatly limits DCTs usage. It’s known to all that the controlling method and its electric controlling systems are extremely difficult especially when it comes to the controlling of clutches. The time span of DCT’s shifting should be within0.8s with consistent power chain, for co-working period of two clutches, it should be between0.1s to0.3s. If the controlling system can’t meet the need of DCT, continuous power chain and its stability will be impossible.Secondly, DCT always suffered with its problems as a result of immature technologies. From2007to2009, VolksWagen has recalled thousands of vehicles equipped with DCT because of the wrong detection of temperature transmitter and high temperature from fictions of clutches. And the instruction book of VW Magoton announced its users that DCT will refuse to transmit power unless the car stops and wait until its cooling in the circumstances that the rising temperature during idling is unavoidable. Besides, delay of power supply, blocking, trembling and similar problems are existing in DCT cars after being drive for one or two years.On analyzing the automobiles in China, small cars with displacement below1.6L is the large majority, especially the policies are encouraging purchasing small cars in recent years. So the paper focuses on designing PCB for electric systems of DCT.By understanding of structure and principles of DCT, the paper figures out the input and output signals related to controlling system, designs controlling process, specialties and methods, the resource allocation table for ECU, schematic circuit diagrams including the minimum system circuit, input circuit, output circuit, CAN circuit so on and so forth, and makes PCB for the system. Unlike the DCTs equipped in cars, the clutches in the system are motivated by DC motor instead of hydraulic system.
