Improving energy efficiency, and developing and promoting the energy-efficient heat exchanger equipment is the inevitable choice of industrial energy efficiency. Boiling heat transfer is highly efficient, which is widely used in daily life and industrial field. Shell-and-tube heat exchanger is a classical type of heat exchanger for the boiling process accounting for more than35%of the entire cost of device investment. On the background of energy crisis and development of equipment manufacturing, It’s obviously significant for needs of modern production to improve the efficiency of boiling heat transfer when designing shell and tube heat exchanger.The present study based on stream analysis method mainly focused on the design methods of shell and tube heat exchanger for efficient boiling heat transfer. Combined with results from published studies, a novel stream analysis method is proposed with unopened parameters solved, while boiling heat transfer process method of shell and tube heat exchanger which compute boiling heat transfer coefficient and boiling two-phase flow pressure drop is obtained. Compared with HTRI software design results of cases the correctness of this method is verified, which presents the stream analysis method and the design methods of shell and tube heat exchanger for efficient boiling heat transfer could be accurately applied to the boiling process of shell and tube heat exchanger heat transfer calculation.
