Fine Aggregate Interference On The Performance Of Asphalt Mixture

With the rapid development of economy, highway enterprises have been in thegolden time of development in our country in recent years. However, due to the keytechnical reserves inadequate, the damage of asphalt pavement becomes serious soon,it seriously affect Service ability of the road, threatening the safety of vehicles.Domestic and foreign studies have shown that the gradation of the asphalt mixtureis one of the key factors for asphalt pavement early disease. Different aggregategradation will make asphalt mixture have different composition and structur，eventually lead to different pavement performance.The fine aggregate is an importantpart of the aggregate gradation, its purpose is to fill the gap formed by the coarseaggregate and get greater density.Fine aggregate also have intervention ofskeleton.Therefore this paper focus on fine aggregates interference on the performanceof asphalt mixture and proceed three aspects of the work as follows：first，Analysis theinterfering particle influence of VCAdrc by coarse aggregate dry packed test.Second,by the Marshall Test of48kinds gradation, obtaining the2.36mm and1.18mmparticle volume interferenc law of different gradation.At last, according to optimumasphalt-aggregate ratio of most compactness state, this paper respectively adoptssplitting strength、FN and DS、 strain energy density to analysis the fine aggregatesinterference on the performance of asphalt mixture. Through the discussion and theresearch，it can provide a reference of gradation design and gradation control, whichmakes asphalt mixture has the excellent performances.
